As an attendee of this information sharing, you’ll be involved in a classroom presentation on railway safety and flaring rationale, presented by railway personnel. Following that, attendees will move outside to participate in the live flaring exercise, and get some hands-on learning with the static displays (time permitting). These displays will include a railway tank car, fire trailer, locomotive simulator, trailer with common tank car valves, highway tanker(s), and a display provided by one of Saskatchewan’s CERCA verified emergency response contractors.
